Hosting

Our network uses redundant server technology. Most web hosting companies will place several hundred websites on a single web server. If that server were to crash, the hosting company would have to replace the server and then restore your website from a backup. This process could take anywhere from several hours to several days to complete, depending on the number of sites they host per machine and the availability of replacement hardware.
 
When you host with us, your website is actually set up on several web servers that are part of a cluster. There are numerous advantages to this type of setup over a single server:

• Redundancy
  If a server that is part of a cluster crashes, you won't even know! Since your site is hosted on multiple servers, if one of them goes down, the others will still continue to display your web site.
  
 

• Load Balancing
  When multiple web sites are hosted on a single server, if one of those sites is getting high volumes of traffic or has a lot of executable scripts running on it, it can hinder the performance of all of the other sites hosted on that system. The load balancing capabilities of our server cluster eliminate this bottleneck. As requests come in, they're evenly divided up among all of the servers in the cluster, increasing the response time when a site is accessed.
